Replaced Kirkwood with Sanders - A+

Replaced Klein with Baun - A+

Replaced Bell with Jenkins - B (Bell was pretty good)

Added Ruiz to the O line allowing Warford to become a backup guard. Which is very good Armstead gets injured and we need to move Peat to T. Draft pick -A

Added another weapon in Trautman which will allow more of Cook lining up away from the O line to utilize his size and speed against linebackers or safeties. - Draft grade B+

The Saints have added four starters since the end of last season.

We need to appreciate the job our front office is doing to give Brees one last ride.

And completely different LBers too. They don’t even play the same “position”. Klein is a read and react LBer with some coverage skills. Baun is almost strictly an edge guy.

Yep

A solid linebacker for a guy who hasn’t taken an NFL snap. Unproven

I’m ok with this

Warford at $8 million is too expensive to be a backup guard. He will start or they will trade him/cut him.

I’d guess Anzalone starts before Baun. So 3 starters.

Make Baun your Mike and put AA at Sam.

The reduced snaps will be better for his battered arse shoulders.

You think Baun won’t be on the field

On obvious passing downs he will see time. He is an edge rusher and we play a 43. Unless you are sticking his hand in the dirt, he will be a situational guy.

We drafted Ruiz to replace Warford after he plays his arse off during his final contract year. We will have Ruiz on a rookie contract and some other team will pay north of $10M a year for Warford. Baw

Can’t win in the playoffs with a hobbled offensive line. Ruiz pick was key.

Payton literally said this in the "presser" after the first round.

And when asked about Larry he said he was going to have to compete, but the tone sounded like Larry won't be around or likely won't be starting.

Payton was definitely pissed with him at points last year. Rumblings about him getting lazy and not playing with high effort every game.

I'm agreeing with you a lot but I think the draftards may have gotten to you a little.

Let's do some Crown shots over zoom and forget about them.
