This morning I thought that the 2026 Saints were a very good team.

we're an okay team with a lot of holes and depth issues that can't make too many mistakes and expect to win. we have some pieces and what seems to be a solid coaching staff.

They are fine, just flawed.

Good assessment. I agree.
Saints are an "okay team" doing fairly well rebuilding from last season's last place finish.

They are, at best, a very average team. Eight or nine wins. That was the case before today as well. We just want to be optimist as fans so we talked ourselves into believing they were better than they really are.

Saints had an 11 point lead with 5 minutes remaining in the third quarter. The team failed to execute and did not put the Raiders away. Horrendous 4th Q with 4 turnovers, allowing the Raiders to score 19 unanswered points.. Gotta learn how to close the deal when you’re leading by 2 scores

the raiders started sending 5 instead of 4 and we never adapted to it. that's when the bottom fell out.

the screen to olave was nice, but our hot routes seemed to be mostly rbs that were covered or waiting to get leveled.
