I take that with a grain of salt ... first game, there wasn't any yards to be had after the first 2 drives due to the turnovers and the failed 4th down conversions. 2nd game was just a pure arse kicking. I think we settle at a middle of the pack offense for the first time in Sean's career.

Psstt...it's called a trade, which the Saints were actively attempting to do prior to this year's draft...for a corner when Jameis Winston was in the running to be their starting QB.

Unfortunately the day I’ve dreaded for a decade now is here with no more Brees. Franchise QBs don’t just grow on trees, it could be years until we have one again.

I've dreaded that also and franchise QBs don't come along everyday however, you can't yet measure accurately how well Winston or any other QB will do in this offense until we get some NFL quality receivers back on the field.
