The timeout for Olave injury cost us the game

Everyone justifiably upset about the Chase Young sack fumble TD…. But for some reason they determined Olave wasn’t hurt during the play and thus forced us to burn a timeout.
If they don’t make us burn that timeout, we likely have enough time to win in regulation

Been trying to figure that one out. Is the rule that the penalty the resulted in the clock stoppage did not cause the injury; therefore, an injury at another spot of the field away from the penalty results in a TO?
Because of the penalty, there would be a stoppage anyway; therefore, his injury wouldn’t impede the flow or give the team an advantage
Can’t find an intent ruling somewhere in the rule book for this?

If the trainers have to come on the field for Olave... we're forced to use a timeout by rule anyway

Didn’t they have roughing the passer on that play? The clock should’ve stopped on that personal foul.
