If Pickett ends up being a quality starter, the Saints will regret this for a long time.
You simply don’t get a chance to take a franchise QB where we were often. And it’s never been a bigger need (at least in last 15 years).
Obviously they didn’t like Pickett or Willis.

I guess. He’d have gone 3rd round at best last year.
He would have been well behind…. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, etc. So i guess getting any QB who is good is a steal, but picking a 3rd round value in the 1st round is not “interesting “ in a positive way. If I was a betting man, I’d bet he sucks.
