Beat up and short on rest, and should have won this game despite getting absolutely screwed by the refs and the injury bug.

The good that can come out of this? Extra days of rest for a team that badly needs it, and one very pissed off Saints team looking to go 12-4.

Should have run on first. Stop going wide against the Falcons.

Go up the middle.

The saints showed guts

They can win on the road in the playoffs. Injuries like I’ve never seen. One of the most suspicious games officiating wise. Best player out. Short week road game against a good team

They won the turnover battle, 3-1, the odds of losing are slim, the officiating fricked them hard.

Absolutely the better team? No. Both teams played shitty. The refs were shitty. We had so many injured players it took Matt Ryan throwing 3 picks to keep us in it. At the same time for the most part we really did look like the better team. I don't want to call it flukey because that's not the right adjective but bizarre would maybe work. I feel if you play that game 10 times we probably take 6 or 7. Kamara getting hurt early really seemed to frick up the offensive game plan. Overall was a pretty shitty game all around and I'm glad it's over so we can't have any more injuries. If we never play another Thursday night game I wouldn't shed a tear.
