The Saints need to fire Sean Payton. He sucks.

We have only averaged 10 wins per season since he became the coach. We have only been to the playoffs 8 of the past 13 seasons. He stinks. We have only won the division 6 of those 13 seasons and on pace for the 7th. Never a season with less than 7 wins. He is stupid. Only 1 stinking Super Bowl. We should have won them all and now we go and shite the bed after stringing together a lousy little 9 game winning streak. I tell you he doesn't deserve this highly intelligent fan base. I was use to a well coached , high functioning winning tradition before he and Loomis and our current management came along and I won;t put up with it. I demand that they hold themselves to a higher standard than I would hold myself. I, as an entitled fan deserve it.

Payton even admitted he put it on himself. Not even sure why people are trying to make it bigger than it is.
This has probably been one of his best coaching years in the league. Yesterday was not a great game for him. Both of these things can be true

Another one of those posts that believe the purpose of a message board is to do nothing but praise the current coaches & players. No one is calling for him to be fired, but a lot of fans are unhappy with the game planning, play calling, and effort/execution from the team yesterday. All of that falls on him.
And for what its worth, I have seen Pats fans bitch and moan about Belichick this year. If anyone can be above criticism, it would be him.

Nobody wants Payton fired. Everyone just wishes he would be quicker to make adjustments to the playcalling. Running screens when 9 out of 10 times it gained a max of 1 yard is just dumb. They had second string corners in for most of the game and we continued running routes within a yard of the line of scrimmage. Meanwhile, the few times we tried to throw the ball downfield it worked. Thomas got open, Sanders got open, Cook got open. Funny how that happened. Then on 4th and 2 he rolls Taysom out and cut the field in half with one route to that side of the field that was covered by 4 Eagles defenders. Just horrible play calling and it cost the Saints. Not scoring a point in the first half against a horrible Eagles defense isn't something to celebrate. Fans are allowed to be upset about it.
