There were plenty who thought this team could still be good. They just weren't posting in the negative shite storm this board has been the last year or so (some of it rightfully so).

It’s a week to week, what have you done for me lately league. I’m certainly liking what I’ve seen in the 1st 2 games.

Last year looking at the personnel on paper we should have been 1-2 games better than our record. But I could not get excited about the team with having Carmichael after the ‘22 season.
I know a good OC can make a BIG difference, but Kubiak thus far is a HUGE difference
Small sample only through 2 games but Kamara had 83 yards rushing for 5.5avg last week & 115 yards & 5.8avg this week.
How many 100 yard rushing games has he had?
How many games has he had an average over 5ypc?
Has that ever happened in consecutive games?
Carmichael was such a bad playcaller & schemer that he had a ton of fans & pundits saying Kamara was not worth a big contract & he should be traded. I agreed with that except I added “not worth in Carmichael’s system”. Now Kamara is off to the hottest start for a season for his career with consecutive games of 100+ scrimmage yards, 5.65ypc, & 4 TDs

I believe the biggest surprise is the OLine play. Penning is doing a great job on the right side.
