Do you not remember the selfishness of Graham?? We just overhauled the locker room to get the cancers out, and look at our success. Why would we bring trouble back in?
Exactly, he was a cancer in the locker room.
Saints have become a running team, Jimmy can't run block.
Do not want

Would help on 3rd down and in the redzone (weaknesses this year). However, would it make our run game worse? hmmmmmm tough one.
Whatever. I've been critical of his softness, but I'd take Jimmy back in a heartbeat. Brees is really familiar with him, and he's an actual red zone threat. We don't get Drew another target now, he might as well retire on the spot.

Did you watch him this year? He had 10 TDs in that trainwreck of an offensive situation in Seattle.
Yeah I saw them play a decent amount. He's great in the red zone and pretty invisible between the 20s. A big part of that was the offense but he looks much slower and less in shape than he was with us.
Like I said, if the price is reasonable I'd be fine with us bringing him back.

Yeah he definitely isn't the same guy.
He was really their only red zone target.
Guy is soft
Not the same guy.
Bitched to get out
Will get overpaid
We need to keep drafting and make smart decisions in free agency unless it is for an absolute beast

We don't need a tight end with gator arms. frick him

Yep and Brees would have another major target

I think your formatting gave my eyes cancer
For the right price though, I wouldn’t mind him coming back. I think he’s useless as an in-line blocker so if his price dictates him being the TE on every down then he’d kill our run game. If he’s cheap enough that we can also have a more traditional TE, I’d be interested in seeing the possible mismatches

If we drafted Christian Kirk and resigned Jimmy, we'd be 2011 level good again.
Jimmy would still be great in this offense. Red zone and third down he'd be great. He'd probably still be able to put up 8-10 TDs and over 1k yards in this offense.

I'd rather a TE who can block as well as he can catch and run routes so that it keeps the defenses honest and doesn't tip our hand due to personnel.

Ok great let’s trade for Gronk

Has his alligator arms been fixed? At the end here, he was half assing attempts to catch the ball.

Would take him in a heartbeat for the right price but I think he is going to get 10+ million elsewhere.
And I know he isnt a great blocker, but he definitely wasn’t a cancer in the locker room. Him and Drew have a great relationship, but him and Payton are a different story.
