It doesn't take a genius in this one:

1) Contain the run game
2) Contain the interior DL of the Rams.

That is pretty much it beyond the obvious like Turnovers. If the Rams can't run the ball, and Suh/Donald doesn't destroy our OL, we win.

With the removal of Kupp this is 100% facts.

Score score score. We made them abandon the run last time because we were so far ahead.

Quick question, how the hell did we contain Donald and Suh that 1st game? Peat is going to have to play better without a doubt.

Was peat's struggle yesterday injury related?

I feel like it has to be. His worst game at Guard that I can remember. That hand has to be fricked up.

That scares the ever living shite out of me vs Donald/Suh. Those boys don't play around.

Losing Rankins makes this a challenge.

I'm not sure if he was the one that had to guard Fletcher Cox most of the game, but if he was, I'm sure this had a lot to do with it. Fletcher Cox is a beast.

Kupp was key for them but Woods may be one of the most underrated receivers in football. I'm not as confident as I was against the Eagles honestly. They have Talib back for this match up and even if Thomas is the GOAT, others are going to have to step up.

If we are being honest with ourselves the saints OL trending down is a big worry. Couple that with the rams DL trending up. It’ll take some more magic for the saints to beat the rams this time around.

Turnovers

Really the only key tbh

Look what happened yesterday, Drew throws the pick and Eagles get 7 off of it.

Dont give extra possessions in the Dome, get an extra possession here or there like we've been doing all year, our offense vs their D, we will win the game, it's that simple imo

I mean yeah but Turnovers are ALWAYS the key imo. The stats for teams that win the Turnover battle are absurd.

I was trying to go a little bit outside of that.

Foles is better than Goff. Make Goff beat you.

Rankins hurts hut we should be OK stuffing the run without him.

Talib is a punk and won't be allowed to hold on the road.

Throw at Marcus Peters. He's a hot head and will be completely out of his element if we have success against him early. Make the rams switch up coverages. If we can get Thomas on a heated Peters we will have a ton of success.

I would add a third key-

3) Find another WR option.

I say this because Thomas went nuts on them for 200+ yards then embarrassed them with the cell phone stunt. On top of that, Thomas had a huge game yesterday which they obviously witnessed. They are going to pull out all the stops to avoid a big game by Thomas, even if it means constant double/triple teams.

This means somebody- Ginn, Trequan, Kirkwood- better step up and be ready for 8-10 catches, 100+ yards.

Idk I think just as long as we score more points than them we should have this in hand.

I think Goff will make a mistake or two and turn it over. Hopefully Drew doesn't.
