I really hope they can get more pressure on Goff than they got on Foles. Goff has been playing like arse for over a month now. I feel if they can knock him down several times, the pressure of the moment will be too big along with the crowd noise, Goff will make several big mistakes (turnovers).

dude was playing with one hand yesterday. the problem is that I don't know if he'll be 100% before Sunday. Our run game will be key yet again.

We need to have a pass rush this week. Foles had a lot of time. Not sure if the eagles pass pro was THAT good or what.

We need to stop the run and force Goff to beat us. Lattimore on Cooks and Apple on Woods with press coverage.

We HAVE to slow down their run. That’s the key to their success.

Double Woods and play singled up on Cooks with space.

Cooks has no shakes so let them take the short stuff/run into the LBs in the middle with him.

Keep containing the run as we have.

Shut down Gurley with Davis in the passing game again.

Without Kupp we can contain that offense. Kupp was huge for them last game. Not that he had a huge game (pretty good with 5 for 89 and a TD), but the attention he drew opened it up for Woods and Cooks especially.

Cooks now has to do a lot of the stuff Kupp was doing and has been used as a decoy a lot more (they've tried giving that role to Reynolds but he can be singled up by most teams).

Ginn did step up. He had 3 catches for 44 yards. Not a huge game, but they way they played it they were intent on stopping the deep ball, so we ran Ginn as a decoy often.

It worked and Thomas had a HUGE game. We can do the same to the Rams and they can only stop 2 of the 3 of Thomas, Kamara, and Ginn, just as the Eagles and Steelers did. One of them is getting yards and points.

Yep. Ginn just has to play well and we will be fine.

On the other side, the Rams live off play action. Stopping the run will be key. Hold Gurley and Anderson to under 100 rushing yards, which will be tough, and we win. Kupp was a matchup nightmare against us. He’s gone. Just have to sell out to stop the run, even if we give up a few plays on PA rollouts

That's the thing. You have to put the game on Goff's shoulders.

If the Rams run as they did against Dallas the Saints could be in trouble.

Just bumped the thread stating how they were able to run on Dallas like that, as well as only give up ONE pressure all game.

Basically Dallas had some huge tells and the Rams exploited that. We run a different type of scheme up front so it shouldn't be an issue.

We need to get the run game going early and often, before trying those dangerous long passes down field. I'm so much happier when Brees is carving up Defenses with those short passes all over the field.
