If we support the Saints, we support the NFL. Purchases of Saints gear funds the NFL machine in general.

If we don't support the Saints, there's the risk of the franchise failing/being moved.

Do we enlist the fans of other teams jobbed by the NFL, i.e., the Chiefs? They were the victim of a rigged call for the big-market team in their championship game.

Is it a hopeless cause? Will the small-market teams always get scammed? I'm torn on how to approach next season. I still like the Saints but the NFL as an institution is dead to me.

View the games as entertainment. Accept the reality that the NFL will do us no favors. Buy tickets and support our Saints.

As far as I know right now, I won't be following any NFL next year.

I don't like WWE and I don't like the football version of it either.

Now, what the he'll I'm still doing checking out a saints forum I don't know....

It's hard to get that invested in entertainment. It's like OK, I'll watch your "show" but I'm not going to advertise you throughout the week.

If it's all scripted, it's less interesting to me.

Agree. The saints didn't do anything to me but i don't possibly see how I'm going to watch next year based on the way i currently feel about the integrity of the league. Something needs to happen to make me not think the same thing could happen again.

At this point, I have a hard time envisioning anything that will make me view the NFL the same way, short of putting the Saints in the Super Bowl over the Rams.

Goodell isn't going to make me happy, no matter what he says.

Unless he commits hari kari on live TV. Then I would be a full-time NFL fan again.

Hardcore football fan for 40 years and it all got ruined in about 3 hours. The infamous no PI, the no call on the INT in OT and the tap on Brady for a 15 yard penalty. Not sure what will make me think NFL/refs aren't trying to affect outcomes from this point on. And if that's the case why watch?

all you can do is watch it knowing full well the outcome of every game is scripted and barring some unexpected surprise, the NFL has already dictated who will win before the game is played.

it literally is the WWE but people still watch that BS knowing full well its all fake and scripted as well

Reach out to Chiefs fans. Invite some here to strategize. A concerted effort would be interesting.

Both games smelled of day old fish rotting in the sun.

Man what I wouldn’t give to make a name for myself around here. The only way to do that around here is to troll almost non-stop like you have for years. No thanks.
