They didn't get it done. Stop all the bitching about the PI.

There should have been nothing but 3 kneels and a FG after the flag.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand.

Nothing.

Eat a dick. They should have never been put in that situation in the first place. Up to that point, everyone had done enough to win that game. It was snatched away. Plain and simple.

Could the team have played better? Yes. But up to that point did they do enough to win? Yes.

And the refs still had a chance to correct their mistakes and missed the hit on Brees in overtime that resulted in the interception.

One play never is the difference in deciding a game. Same case here. Defense let the rams score to end the game and the offense turned it over in OT.

The interception is irrelevant to the call

I agree. It is hard to beat the Rams three times in one season and twice in one game.

First, you are right, there was a chance to win, still. Second, frick off. If it wasn’t the PI, it would have been something else, to keep the Saints out of the end zone. I usually laugh at the “it’s fixed” crowd but this was blatant. Ref had his hand on the flag and was called off.

The Rams had two more offensive possessions to tie and take the lead because the refs missed a call that would have allowed the Saints to win the game without Goff ever getting his hands on the ball. FIFY
