Underhill isn't the posters here. I don't think anyone here really hypes him up as a superstar DE, but he can be potentially close to a Cam type and get 10 sacks a year, which is fine.
Very few players are consistent and long lived at the pass rusher spot. Most have spurts or have their production dive off a cliff at some point. Chase looks like a guy that could consistently do "good enough" for a long time given how he is built and how he rushes the passer.

I will say only 17 players had double digit sacks last year (he finished 17th), so people thinking 15 is more commonplace, it's not. Sacks are a HIGHLY variable number, just like fg%, and huge swings can happen year to year.
So I would say it's possible he is a top 10 pass rusher, but he isn't on the elite level of a couple of guys (which it's literally 2 or 3 I think), but again, that's just a couple.
So people saying he sucks are dead wrong, and anyone who thinks he is elite would be dead wrong, but he is a very good pass rusher, top 15 at least, and that falls squarely in the number 1 pass rusher conversation.

I can think of two games he helped swing between the Titans rip and score and the late 4th drive ending sack on Bryce Young. He’s not Myles Garrett but he’ll absolutely command a giant deal in a few years if he keeps his 2025 pace up.

I 100% agree with this. He took a big step forward last year, but was injured for a third of the season. His one year being healthy he was unproductive. It’s always one thing or another with him.
I legitimately like Chase Young the leader and teammate. I just need Chase Young the player to step up and prove he’s the top end player most of this board touts him to be.

The most surprising stat for me is Chase Young is only 27. Feels like he should be much older.
