Per all the local beat guys. This will be the 4th game he’s missed. Big blow for us. Should we be worried? Is is going to be able to come back? Did he have a setback ?

Need him for the playoffs but for as talanted as he is, he’s injury-prone and soft as hell.

Out of our last 4 or 5 opponents this is probably the best game to have him sit IMO. Carolina's best pass rusher is older than Ben Watson and rushes Ram's side.

Saints are fantastic at finding good OL outside of the 1st round. We pretty much only have our 2nd round pick next season, and I'd use it to focus on a LT/LG. Armstead is probably the best tackle in the NFL, but he missed too much time. Peat has been subpar this season, but I think he's just injured. He's proven to be a competent LT, so I'd like for the Saints to just get the best weakside blocker they can get in the draft, then figure it out when either Armstead/Peat are injured.

From what someone supposedly knowledgeable of the situation on SR stated the pec injury wasn’t a complete tear but was still bad. Saints have known for awhile he was gonna be out a good bit and are thinking he’d be back for playoffs

I doubt he had a setback but there's just no need to play him until he's absolutely 100%.

When healthy he is likely the best tackle in the league
absolutely dominant. Obviously he is not 100% and they feel the risk is not worth taking. Everyone would be shitting their pants if they played him and he got reinjured.
