The first step for the Saints, Panthers, and Browns in arranging a meeting with QB Deshaun Watson was presenting a trade package to the Texans, per multiple league sources. Once Houston approved, only then did they meet.

I'll take "No shite, Sherlock" for $1000

So by this reasoning, Atlanta must have an approved deal if they're meeting Watson tomorrow

Yeah that isn’t great. It sounds like he will choose Atlanta in that case since it’s personal to him.

We never win these. I suggest folks move on

I'm interested in how Atlanta pulls it off with Ryan's dead cap

Yeah it’s time to move on writing on wall he reach out to Atlanta and there his last stop

When I saw that he was meeting with Atlanta I got a really bad feeling. Native, has a house there already, and history with the franchise. Plus if you’re being objective a higher standard of living in Atlanta than NOLA at this point if you’re making that kind of money.

we literally never do. Suh, OBJ, and so many more. It drags on and they realize they don’t want to come here. Always the bride left at the alter.

Yeah but the team is trash, has no one to throw to, and won’t have any way to improve for 2 years basically.
It would have to be purely personal, aka it was his dream to play for the team he cheered for growing up.

If we don’t get him oh well lol. We tried. Keep our draft capital and keep building through the draft.

If they get Watson, wonder if they'd trade us Ryan.

No way in hell lol

They'd basically be in rebuild mode. No WRs, so picks for Ryan would help and they wouldn't be trying to compete with us next season anyway

Defense is in shambles.
No running game.
#2 wr just left and your #1wr is suspended.
Ryan is like "please trade me in this deal"

Yeah I don’t see why you would want to go to ATL. Pitts and Patterson isn’t enough weapons.

This was the speculation I mentioned in another thread. Good to get some confirmation.
If DeShaun wants to win, it’s us. That’s my take.

And if winning isn't his main concern, we might be better off
