Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes!!!!! It's been the long, strange, and sometimes frustrating offseason. But it is here, GAMEDAY!!!! Week 1, Game 1 of the 2020 season.
And what a way to kick off the 2020 season, other than in the "America's Game of the Week" spot against perhaps the biggest challenger to the Saints 3-year reign as NFC South Division Champions, the completely revamped Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Over the offseason, the Saints added a 2nd bonafide receiver in Emmanuel Sanders to hopefully take the pass catching load off of Mike Thomas, thinking that's the missing piece to a Super Bowl run to close out Drew Brees' HoF career in style.
The Bucs went and completely retooled into the Patriots of southwest Florida, signing Tom Brady in free agency, convincing Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement (and drop the WWE 24/7 Championship that he won at Wrestlemania this past March) to be their tight end, and then for fun last week added former St. Augustine Purple Knight, LSU Tiger, and Jacksonville Jaguar running back Leonard Fournette. So needless to say, the Saints defense will have to be on its game right out of the gate.
LET'S SEND THE BUCS TO THE BRINY DEEP TO KICK THIS SEASON OFF IN STYLE!!!

I won’t be watching, yes I have to announce that and “virtue signal” However I’m not hoping the Saints lose. Saints are a better team imo, I feel Brady is washed up. I feel Saints win today

The Bucs will score some points, they have too many offensive weapons not to. But our DL and secondary are significantly better than theirs and they have a rookie lining up against Cam Jordan
I expect some sacks and pressures. And of course we have weapons of our own.
The only thing that worries me is the Saints have a tendency to lay eggs in the first game or 2 of the season. I'd really like to break that trend and have a solid opening week for once. With no preseason, I would think we have an advantage as our coach and QB have been together for 15 years and Drew has game chemistry with most of his weapons already, unlike Tom.
