This has been the worst offseason ever. I will say I'm giving him the slight benefit of the doubt because Spags knows his DL, but I have no clue how you take this guy over a three year starter who could really help us against the run.

Tired of us always taking flyers on these boom or bust defensive guys.

If only every one of our DL could do backflips we would be stacked.

Id be willing to bet that if he does well out the gate you'll be the first guy saying thank god we drafted him, great choice.

We got our run stuffers in free agency. We need an inside push on pass rush.

No shite. If he turns out to be a great player then obviously it would be a great pick and I'd acknowledge it as such. I don't think we're all egomaniacal pricks who can't admit mistakes.

If he turns out to not be a good player will you still maintain it was a good pick? That's moronic.

I just think this staff focuses a little too much on potential when it comes to the defensive side of the ball.

You judge decisions based on whether they were sound at the time, not based on the outcome.

This was a good move. Period.

What a stupid thing to focus on. This team will never win with that attitude.

so jimmy graham, marques colston, nicks, evans, etc weren't based off of potential?

that's why nobody cares about your opinion. Holds as much water as a bullet ridden whore.

What a stupid thing to focus on. This sorry defense will continue to be the anchor to one of the greatest offenses and QBs in league history.

Again - I bet when Spags turns this team around youre on here sayin things like - I knew he'd do well. And thank god for spags and i always believed in him.

New players, new coach, new philosophy, new attitude.
What part of those things do you think is a "sorry defense" and do you have no good thoughts about our D for next year? Can you list for me the teams in the past hat had an elite offense and defense at the same time with similar cap room?
In 3 years we have won a Superbowl, the division, and made the playoffs every year. frick Saints fans are spoiled. Do you know how hard it is to constantly repeat the superbowl? We have new talent, a new coach, and a new year. GTFO with your pessimism.

Some of you homers would be rationalizing this if we took a damn place kicker. I disagree with the pick, that's all.

Some of you act like I'm calling Einstein a fool. Since when has this staff done anything on the defensive end to warrant such fervent mouth-breathing adoration?

Thompson will be in the Bengals' DT rotation from day one barring injury.

I agree.

Malcolm Jenkins, Patrick Robinson, Tracy Porter, Roman Harper... all busts that we drafted.

I know. Its so pathetic. Then we went on to have really shitty 11-5 playoff berth and 13-3 playoff berth. I wish we didnt suck.
