Work is supposed to take place between 2020 and 2024 right? They did majority (if not all) of the seating renovations last season.
Now they have to do the concourses and I believe they're adding sunlight in some way maybe?

The Bills are opening a new one in 2026 with a price tag of about $1.6 Billion. The Titans are opening one in 2026 as well for about $2.1 Billion.
Meanwhile the Saints are constantly getting $100-200 million band aids on a piece of shite.
Within the next decade, it's gotta be a foregone conclusion they're gonna ask for a new stadium. Louisiana will be standing there with their dick in their hand saying "but what about all those Superdome upgrades?!"

The Super Dome is one of the most iconic, impressive stadiums in the League. The only true Dome Stadium.

Other than cosmetic upgrades every 5-6 years, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the long term viability of the dome. It will continue to attract the big events, just not at the same rate it used to. There are still only about 10 stadiums that can host all of the major sporting events.

The NFLPA is making a push to phase out turf fields in the forthcoming years. I guess we’d have to go the same route as Houston and bring it in squares.

We have been over this, there are some stadiums or parks that are iconic that you don't tear down. Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, The Superdome, and Lambeau. These 4 you don't just tear down and build something new they are iconic. Some of you idiots think that you have to go for new all the time. That is a stupid mentality.

While I understand the history, Fenway is a dump. Wrigley spent a lot on upgrades and Lambeau isn’t that special. The Superdome isn’t as old in comparison, but it’s rich in history for the events that it’s hosted in almost 50 years.

The Superdome is one of the most recognized stadiums on the planet. With a location and a history infamous and famous.
Upgrade as needed or pay the 2 billion for the new one if that's how you scratch a itch.

They are supposed to turn over half the stadium that is fully renovated this coming august. The other half for 2024 season
