Try going to a Braves game. I'd stay as far outside the city as possible.

It’s a good time. Fans will razz you but nothing serious.

Battery will have everything you need and then some. What game are you going to? If it's the Friday game, be awaare that some parking lots do not open until 5:30 but you can park in the green lot until then.

Stats, Hudson Grille or Tin Lizzy's.
ETA - You're not going to have many pre-game options as you can't purchase alcohol before 12:30 on Sundays.

Supposed to go to a vote this November to pull back to 11am on Sunday mornings.

Or you can let adults be adults and buy alcohol whenever they want.
Atlanta fricks everything up...

We walked around with a pillow case from our hotel full of cans of beer and drank them outside the Georgia Dome and inside CNN center

I went to Amsterdam Cafe by piedmont park last year to watch the saints Vikings game because I noticed there was always a saints flag outside when I passed by. It is a gay bar, and I knew that, but I figured there would be a lot of gay saints fans hopefully. Was pretty dead. So I don’t recommend that.
Went to big easy grille on west side for LSU/Auburn. Decent spot with lots of LSU fans.
None of this really matters for pregame spots for saints fans as you won’t be able to drink, as stated, and your best option is basically to tailgate/hangout around stadium before.
You know, your best option might be to roll up to the Home Depot Backyard and see if anyone is a Saints tailgate there. It just opened last weekend for the panthers game and I’m not sure how the spots work, except that you have to pay a bunch of money either per game or maybe for a whole season. But it’s right next to the stadium and you should just bring some beer with you and chill there.
I do think the recommendation of stats is a good place as it is a brewpub and has a
Great tv setup especially for college for all saturdays. Is close to the stadium. There’s also der Biergarten next door. Hudson grille is ok, but it’s just your typical chain style sports bar like tacomac. Both local but both meh in terms of unique experience. I personally kinda prefer tacomac but really doesn’t matter. If you’re going to be hanging out in Midtown during the weekend drinking, you should go drink at somewhere like Henry’s, or cypress street, or vortex. The Lawrence of you want cocktails.
Oh also Saturday night the annual beltline lantern festival is happening. If you’re interested in attending random cool events.
+1 for hanging around battery before and after Braves game.
I could go on and on about shite to do here but ultimately it depends when you’re here and what part of town you’re in. Not sure what time the Braves games are, was going to look up saturdays time but I’m tired and need to go to bed now.

I’ll never understand how this escapes lawsuits from the Freedom from Religion Foundation or the ACLU. There’s simply no disputing that this is government promoting a certain religious belief.

Pappadeux is a winner, also Tavern at Phipps Plaza has good food The Tchoupitoulas is VERY good. Del Frisco's in Buckhead has some cheesesteak rolls with the sauce that are unbelievable other food on menu is pretty good also. Sweet Auburn Seafood downtown has good food and live band at 9 pm on Friday Saturday

For better or worse that law is in MOST Southern states/cities. New Orleans is the only real exception as it's far from the Bible Belt.

Not really. Oregon is far from the Bible belt its just New Orleans

It is possibly the most pitiful football town in America.
