Is it weird I'm more broken up about losing Stills than Graham?

Yeah, to be honest it is a bit weird. Stills was a good replacement level player. Graham was a unique weapon, red zone beast, who was in the upper echelon of his position (and his production was in the upper echelon of Stills' position, too).

I still don't see that as a reason to completely off him from the team.

Its not like they are releasing him, theyll get something for him.

Something involving Clay would be sweet

He hasn't signed the transition tender yet, so he can't be traded.

So far I have been on board with the moves. This one is going to need some explanation for me to agree with it.

Payton can't help you if he doesn't have your number.

Why wouldn't they? He doubled his receptions from year one to year two. He was only getting better. Loomis has lost his damn mind

weren't you just in another thread at those of us talking about Stills getting traded? Come on Oh Great Sage of Earl, enlighten us with more of your wisdom. You see, this is why nobody on these boards likes or respects you, douchebag.

Dinner is served.

44% of last years receiving yardage is gone. Mickey might just be a moron.

Could we possibly be targeting another lineman?

Who does miami have in terms of elite lineman?

So maybe he'll sign it to facilitate the trade. I wish brandon Coleman would learn how to catch. Cuz hes a monster on the practice squad.

I think I'm going to stop checking this board until the dust settles. The old ticker can't take this much stress.

It appears that the Saints are working on getting out of cap hell in the near future (like now). Turning around and overpaying for Stills probably isn't in the plans if they are trading him. Stills is going to be looking for a payday on his next deal. Saints are valuing assets over long term cap commitments at this time, it appears.

I was laughing at the notion of him being traded for Evan Mathis. A rumor that started on this board that you acted like was gospel.

Heres the question I pose to everyone about these moves. What if, just maybe, Stills is average, but Brees/Payton made him better ala Meachum? What if, just maybe, Graham is an above average Tight End and Brees/Payton made him elite?

After seeing Moore and Meachum leave and be dead ends elsewhere its plausible.
