You're welcome...

Actually I was at the Lions game also and I will tell you that the crowd and the crowd noise has not been an issue for me even with the open seats.

Not as many as the Lions game but several patches could still be visible.

I will add this that to me it almost feels like a abuilding effect. We as fans not that the last three seasons have not gone as expected or hoped. The Saints were on a 5 game winning streak and in a way it was almost like the fans were saying---not today, not on our watch.

I am living in NY this season It is not likely I would be able to attend any regular season game this year.

Postseason...I can justify taking some time off and flying home.

My thing is this, I’d much rather go and cut up with a friend of mine... get drunk and yell obscenities at the players and start dance competitions in my section during TV timeouts

The dome entertainment fricking sucks. It's the same stuff they've been doing for 25 years. Im glad you like it but i cant fault anyone for busting out their phone during a timeout

do you cash in your copeland's race ticket after every game too?

Pelicans games are worse imo.

I dont understand the need for fans to be entertained every time play stops.

The only thing I legit enjoy watching is at halftime when a fan tries to catch the football from the punt machine from 30,50, and 70 yards

But someone on the Poli Board said that 20,000 seats were empty because of the anthem kneeling.

I was there. It was rockin'!

I agree with you about the entertainment in the dome being below par, and yea, I’m guilty of looking at my phone from time to time to check my fantasy score if we are in the second half or playing a late game, but there are people who constantly play on their phones, even when the game is live

I'm sure the poliboard claimed 300,000 seats were empty, and then all the posters angrily defended that assertion.

Been going with the same tickets for 20 years. It honestly wasn't that loud on sunday overall. HOWEVER, for the amount of empty seats, it was pretty loud if you look at it that way. The hype per capita was up there. There was still maybe only 70% filled seats.

I still maintain one of the loudest I've ever heard the dome surprisingly was in the Dallas game Superbowl year that we lost, when we did something positive finally in the second half, and it looked like it was possible to not end the winning streak, there was a defensive drive, where the dome was trying their hardest to help. Doesn't compete with the moments everyone talks about as loud, but I never hear it mentioned and I remember my ears hurting in the moment which almost never happens.

[quote]for the amount of empty seats[/quote

It was 90-95% capacity

It wasn't consistently loud but it was prob the best crowd in 3 years

Seemed like at least 85% of the seats were filled on Sunday.

That Cowboys game was nuts. Saturday night game and the team was 13-0. I still don't see how we lost that one.

Sunday was good but if that fat dude would've caught that 3rd football launch at halftime it would've been lit.

FWIW, this was the loudest the dome has been all season, maybe even since the Halloween game against the Steelers about 6 or 7 years ago. The make some noise meter hit 108 a few times. I have no idea if that's good but the Dome was rockin' on Sunday.

Who kneeled yesterday?

I don't think anyone did. They ran it out of the damn end zone every time. Drives me nuts. I'd much rather start at the 25.
