WR: trade a 3rd rounder to Texans for Brandon Cooks who y ou extend on a 3-4 year contracts
Safety; Bring in TM7 to replace Jenkins as this is an upgrade.
Tackle or OG in draft
Bring back PJ on the cheap.
This could somewhat fill holes and improve the roster in several ways.
M’a-t-il have a second and 3rd to play with and get bpa.

Why would we trade a 3rd for cooks when there are other good WRs still out in free agency? Plus extending a concussion prone player for 3-4 years is a huge risk?
I’m fine with the rest of this

The WR market is insane right now. Guys like Jarvis landry asking for 20 million. A cooks trade wouldnt be the worst

We would have to trade draft picks and I'd rather just use those on a rookie WR vs. a player bounced to his 4th or 5th team.

Truth. He's a better option than any remaining free agent WR.

Maybe they take a 5th and a 7th...next year

I’d gladly trade a mid-round pick for a WR that had 90 catches, 1000+yards and 6 TDs with Davis Mills as his QB last year.

frick this. I rather trade a first and 3rd to draft Treylon Burks than get Cooks.

I get that.
But the man was playing well with Davis Mills. He could be a real threat with Jameis. Harris is good for a few missed games between him and Cooks we should get a full season.
Anyway, dont we have an extra 3rd?

Counterpoint. Last season
Besides being passed around the league like a cheap hooker has a way of humbling people

Why would we trade up for him when he’s almost certainly gonna be there at 18? And if he’s not why spend draft capital to go up for a WR when this year is loaded?

I was just stating that's how much I rather Burks than Cooks. I'd overpay.
Like you said, we won't have to.

I just think a Cole Beasley or someone of that tier won’t demand that kind of money, and if my only two options are give up draft capital and forever precious cap space for cooks or build through the draft; I’m building through the draft and hope my defense can carry me the first 1/2 of the season while my offense grows
