I understand the numbers say he is having a good year. We have more success without him, though. Can we trade this guy? Why am I and so many others wrong on this, if we are, can anyone explain? Explain why we're wrong?

We could finally run the ball with some consistency today, too, incidentally. And we also had more motion on those plays, too.

Trade him for what? A bag of rocks? He’s literally the worst player in the league.

As soon as he went out the game, our running game picked up.

We can trash talk Loomis, but he got a whole draft pick fpr Penning. This dude has at least as much value.

Fuaga was mauling people the next several plays as well.

Someone on Moscona was talking about this the other day. He mentioned how he doesn’t understand how people can “grade well” when you watch them get sat into the QB’s lap every other play. He just described Ruiz’s entire career.

well running it right up the gut nine times in a row is certainly the answer to that.

I’m not knowledgeable enough to say but my guess is the other lineman can focus more on their own assignments when Ruiz is not in the game. He might grade better because he has more help from other lineman / running backs to make up for his deficiencies.

I think it was Demario Davis who said he can do a multiple skill set of things / cover areas, but he is at his best when he doesn’t have to help teammates as much. (Paraphrasing).

Example. No Ruiz, ball is snapped Fuaga can simply focus on stopping his man from getting to QB. Ruiz in game, ball snapped, Fuaga has to keep eye out on Ruiz man and stopping his own man from getting to QB.

I think wright has potential and he has the ability to move people in the run game

But he didn't grade out that well in the game for a reason. He's raw and needs to develop

After this season he will just fade away with his pot of gold thanks to Loomis just like his mentor PROJECT PETE
