Atlanta doesn’t play into the what we need to happen scenario at all. To make the playoffs saints need:
Wk. 16: Jags beat Bucs
Wk. 17: Saints beat Bucs
Wk. 18: Saints beat Falcons
Saints control their own destiny if Bucs lose today. No one cares about Atlanta.

Bucs would be 8-9 if they go 1-2. The winner of the NFC south will be whoever goes 9-8.

That’s what I thought. The Bucs are in the driver’s seat, but they have to beat more than just the Panthers. Unless of course they get help from the Saints and Falcons like they had Thursday night.

bucs are in first place and just need to win one more game then we do, or tie our record and thats it
if bucs win today, they could lose to us next week and still win the division with the tie breaker as long as they win their last game or if the saints lose our last game

If they end in tie then Bucs win tiebreaker based on the better conference record right?

yes, and saints already lost thursday
so bucs need to lose 2 of the last 3 and the saints must win our last 2 games, for the saints to have any chance.

Whether the Bucs lose to us and Jags or us and Panthers but I wouldn’t bet on the Bucs losing to Panthers. Bucs have to lose today.
