Let him sit out, Rattler looked better in OTAs

And until he does it an actual games where he’s not being protected like a pussy, no one should give a royal f*ck.

Last year, IN REAL GAMES, he looked like total sh!t. Further, he got worse and worse as the season went on. He hasn’t even proved that he deserves fifth round draft choice money.

Last year, after his first game, I actually was excited and thought we might’ve gotten that proverbial diamond in the rough. But then he just regressed and regressed every f*cking game.

This is such a misleading title and OP lmao. Almost every 2nd round round pick is unsigned right now because of offset language that needs to be addressed in the next cba

Are all players in training situations being protected like pussies or just Rattler?

Maybe I’ll wait until he has actual nfl players around him before having a strong look opinion either way.

Jayden Daniels would’ve struggled where those players.

Yeah it was a curveball when 1st rounders at the very top started holding out for fully guaranteed contracts, which has finally, as expected, trickled down to 2nd rounders.

They need to slot the guarantees in the next cba just like the totals. This cba was supposed to end rookie "holdouts", but of course agents found a loop hole.

He wants guaranteed money because he knows we are going to suck and still draft another QB next year.

Every second rounder is holding out for guaranteed money because the dumb arse teams that already signed their picks gave them fully guaranteed contracts. Has nothing to do with Shough, more to do with how second round picks are negotiated.

I thought the NFL had set rates for rookie contracts after the last labor agreement? Is there much to negotiate?

Yes, the negotiation is the guaranteed money. We already know he will make a little over 10 mil in 4 years.

Why? Has he been anointed the starter. They don’t need to guarantee jack.

Then the link is a lie too, and that’s from a well respected professional journalist.

Nowhere in the link does it say this:

"wants fully guaranteed starter money"

And if you can actually read and understand the article, the Texans started this ball rolling by giving the 34th pick the first fully guaranteed contract for a 2nd rounder, so now it's a game of chicken to see which agent will cave and not continue to push for the full guarantee.

Nowhere does it say he wants starter money. This is just standard agent bs that now everyone has to wait for while each pick in succession signs, all because of the Texans caving.

The only mention of him as a starter comes from an article that actually says it's an open competition, and Shough is not the starter. Basically the writer took various sources and articles and tried to weave something extra in there that is not there, and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker thinking Shough thinks he is the starter (never said ANYWHERE), and that what he is asking is out of the norm based on what the Texans did by breaking the line.

It's no use trying to educate Rita.
She's bitter and obsessed.
