I can only speak for myself. The thing that disappointed and made me lose respect for him as a person is that he caved to the lunatic fringe. He immediately flip flopped. The only thing he said was that he didn't agree with the kneeling because of the respect for his grandfathers who served in WWII. Instead of his teammates respecting his feelings, they attacked him and he caved. You damn well his true beliefs didn't change. But he joined that crowd because he lacked any personal conviction.

dont forget that he had his wife write up some bullshite that "we"(white people of course) are the problem.
