NOF posted an article on their site saying he and Brees are holding the camp out in San Diego for the WRs and TEs during the 6 week break starting Wednesday. Says the RB’s could also be involved. it will be run by Brees’ longtime trainer Todd Durkin
Pretty cool that Brees is getting involved with the team again

Dan Campbell didn't get a ring so Brees would not.

Well, I have it on good authority that he would like to come back and work in the organization. He's spending the next several years making up lost time with his kids, but after that I have a feeling he takes a job in New Orleans.
He's dipping his toes in with this camp and keeping the lifeline open to the Saints organization.

With patriotism being popular again do you think Drew would be back to supporting the flag and not some woke bullshite kneeling event or criminal name on his helmet

It’s incredible how many people ruin football threads with politics.

Do you think he honestly gives up living in San Diego?

IMO, Brees should already be in the same role that Matt Ryan occupies with the Falcons.

Brees always supported the flag and he said so at the time. He only said he understood why some players chose to
Take a knee.
Some of you need to stop obsessing over such a minor incident…

I think his priorities change over time like most of us.

quote:Just because someone is an All-Pro QB doesn’t necessarily mean they can be a good Team President. Some of the on-the-field skills do translate but it is definitely the exception to get a Ozzie Newsome or a John Lynch. The history of the NFL is littered with many more failures than success stories as to turning players into Executives.
IMO, Brees should already be in the same role that Matt Ryan occupies with the Falcons.
Also, the generational wealth that All-Pro players now receive means they are not as likely to be motivated by financial incentives after retiring from “active duty”.
