Last year I was depressed and embarrassed to lose in such a fashion to the Vikings.

This year I'm just angry. I think the whole country -- aside from LA, Atlanta, the NFL office and refs -- is angry along with us.

We all want justice and equality. We were robbed of it.

I think after all of the heartbreaks we have had with the Saints my heart is numb. I was of course angry when it happened but it was not like the 2011 49ers playoff game when I’ve never been more angry in my life. After all of the heartbreaks, it hurts less and less when it happens again

Also, the guy who started this thread is from Dallas but I guess since his depression fits your agenda, it’s ok to not be from the city. GTFO.
The guy who started this thread has been going to Saints games since August of 1967. You don't do that by being "from Dallas". I said, "I'm in Dallas."

everything is fine except for what happened yesterday.

its getting harder and harder for me to be invested in anything nfl related though.

that non call just doesn't make sense.

999 times out of a thousand that call gets made.

just not yesterday when we were on the doorstep of the Super Bowl.

Still trying to decide whether or not to stick it to the NFL by reducing their “Super Bowl” viewership by one.

Vengenace!!

Still really pissed off about it but I'm over it. It fricking sucks, but don't let something you can't control affect your daily life. That said, I still won't watch the Super Bowl, and if that happened to LSU in the college football playoff I would be on suicide watch.

Last night I had a couple of drinks and me and the wife had happy time. I went to work today but no one is really working much.

I am somewhat, somewhat made more comfortable that so many people in the national media are making a big deal out of this. Makes it seem like our anger is legit.

The worst part is trying to figure out plans for super bowl sunday, cause I sure as Hades aren't going to be watching the game. Maybe we will go see a movie.

to let it bother you for a prolonged period is a little weird.

I mean... the game was YESTERDAY.

Check back in April to see if people are still seething about this. If they are still at a fever pitch then, you could say that would be a prolonged period. That would be a little weird.

The fact that you know you don’t see me on other threads means you’re paying close attention to my posts. Otherwise, you wouldn’t know when I post or what threads I post in.

Again, you’re a loser

Stages of grief:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

I was finally in Acceptance after sleeping it off, but now that I'm seeing there were multiple blatant no-calls, I'm back in the Anger stage.

Part of my Saints fandom died last night. I will never be as invested in Saints football as I was this year.

Part of my liking for the NFL died last night- the Saints were blatantly cheated - I can’t help but wonder why.

The saints were our football wife and the NFL fricked her.

I’m not homicidal but I would have nothing but a smile on my face if I learned that any of the officials or league officials responsible for this were diagnosed with chronic, aggressive, and fatal diseases today.
