Isn't Downs a Safety or does he also play Nickel?

I'll be happy if we just pick the player that they feel is the best and fits our team, regardless of who we currently have or what we might still "need". We can fill remaining holes another way, but whether we draft Love, Styles, Downs, one of the edge players, one of the receivers, one of the corners, or whoever it may be, just draft the best guy for this team.

I think you're right, but if Love was still on the board, I bet a lot of teams would pay a premium to move up even just a few spots to get him.

IMHO, there would still be a lot of great players available in the teens and in positions of need for us.

But sadly, I think you are correct. We won't trade down.

the Saints had a top 10 defense last year as far as yards given up.

4th highest against the pass which suggest that pass rush was good. It's not always about sacks but more so about the pressure rate.

19th in run stop yardage.

but here is where it really gets interesting.

The Saints average starting position was 29.7. yard line

their opponent's average was 33.7 yard line

If we go that route I like lemon more than Tate. I like Tyson the best overall but I’m not drafting him bc he’s a huge injury risk . Tyson is the most talented wr in the draft imo. I remember pulling Leavitts highlights from YouTube after he signed with LSU and it looked more like a Tyson highlight film bc he’s absolutely electric with the ball in space.

He’s missed games in every college season he was a part of for 3 different injuries.
