Looks like cowboys are out. They're having a great year.
Chargers now 5-5, and on outside of playoffs.
Browns are bad, but I think they could be a player bc of watson.
Not sure who else... maybe raiders, cardinals, and perhaps packers.

I think CSP knows better than to go to Dallas. I’ve said Chargers for a while now. Not as much pressure as you aren’t even the biggest team in your own town, young talented QB and a good defense once players return next year. Also likely to have a high draft pick. Only downside is in division with Kansas City.

Maybe that pick is in the 13-17 range. I would love more, but I'd settle for one 1st in that range considering it's an AFC team

I have a sneaky feeling it's been the Chargers all along.....I'd believe these deals are agreed upon way ahead of time. They knew Staley was gonna flame out. 2 1sts

The chargers are actually starting to play good ball. I could see them winning a few games in a row.

but if you're chargers, are you looking for the glitz and glamour to pair with Herbert to put them beyond that level of Rams and McVay etc. Probably not super fair to Staley dude but whatever.

I'm not sure HOU can be entirely eliminated. Possibly top 2 pick of the draft. State of TX. Can build a team nearly from scratch, not sure if that's good or bad.

Interesting. They have CLE 1st and 2 additional 3rd rd picks from CLE (3 3rd rounders). On top of Additional 1st and 4th in 2024.

Houston is definitely not going to give us the #2 pick for CSP. They would possibly give us a Cleveland pick or two.
So he could get his QB in Houston, they could give us a few picks and have picks to spare...

correct. i noted the pick as a reason HOU could be slightly more enticing (for payton) than originally thought.
