Great gratitude to Payton for what he accomplished and not going to do anything to deter him in his future career decisions.

Pretty sure Gayle would defer to the GM when making these decisions.

Gayle will talk to loomis about it but it will be a situation where they are grateful for what he did for the saints and will not hold him up.

They will get something for him but it won't be 3 first round picks like some people are saying. Just my opinion.

He’s got probably the coolest man cave I’ve ever seen and it’s behind a ‘hidden’ wall. So badass.

Sounds like a panic room for when his home gets invaded.

I hate to see what the Baton Rouge to New Orleans corridor looks like in 25 years. I don’t feel safe in Baton Rouge afterdark.

Gangsters in New Orleans….

I’ll tell you this Sean worried about the crime more than they worried about him.

Its a death sentence to rob a sean payton or drew brees.. harm them in any way , shape , or form. The streets would handle that accordingly they were safe here.

The type of people to do that aren’t concerned with repercussions. People are killed in nola over far less than the money Sean has

That’s comforting. Meanwhile, you have the mayor begging for state money because apparently there isn’t enough to fund the NOPD. There no thought at all to the idea that your first dollar should be spent on law and order.

Zero plan.

Uptown guy = kind of artsy and in search of an identity to assume. (Or he was just born there, but Payton wasn't.)

No it's not.

And nobody knows sean payton's wife walking down some nola street. NOLA is a shithole. Get over yourself. I wouldn't rely upon the judgement of any and most importantly every fricking thug on the streets.

This isn't an issue for people with FU money.

Getting mugged at gunpoint, having your car’s windows smashed and belongings pilfered, being accosted by homeless people, and dealing with constant porch pirates and catalytic converter thieves effects everyone regardless of economic status (unless you live in a gated community)

The city has gotten noticeably less safe over the past 3 years. I used to be a bog time NOLA cheerleader, and I decided to move out because it was getting so bad where I was.

“…but the food is so good and we party better than anyone” will only get you so far as a upper echelon place people want to live.

Lived in Mandeville prior to divorce. After that wife and kids moved to suburb of Dallas. Payton moved to city. Never heard about building house but probably occurred after marriage to second wife.
