He was saying why can't taysom be the 2nd qb
Just like last year they can't risk him being an every down player and getting hurt without another capable backup

I expect a big increase in snaps. He was actually a very solid receiver last season, improved greatly.

my 2 main issues are the ones above (esp Kamara b/c this may be the nail in that coffin) and this one: if Taysom was really a backup option, why was Teddy starting? it's not like we leaned on him or used the whole playbook for Teddy (so Taysom didn't have to be Brees-level)
i just don't get the faith in him as a legit starting QB. i'll be perfectly honest

Ya’ll are blind.
Taysom is an X factor and he almost single handedly won us the playoff game against the vikes this year.
And his timely 3rd down conversions and power running in short yardage has been critical in several big wins over the past two seasons.
Taysom and Jameis are going to be fighting to prove they can replace Drew.
Its not hard to see why the Saints are making these moves.
