Much has been made by draft experts about Howell’s inconsistencies this year. Does anyone think he could fall to us at #45 in the second?

Honestly, he may fall beyond the 2nd round. He has been very inconsistent.

Opted out of a NY6 bowl game tonight. Pitt’s 1st one since 2004. Last one before that was 1983. I don’t mind a couple of LSU guys sitting out the Texas Bowl, but a QB sitting out a NY6? No thanks.

Pickett will be a top 5 pick if not #1 overall

Very doubtful. 10-15 is the time the first qb should get drafted. And even that may be early with this qb class. One of the worst in a long time.

I get what you are saying, but regardless of the strength of the qb class, a couple qbs every year are propped up and taken in the top 5-10 who werent projected to in december

No doubt but there is 0% chance he goes top 3. If so that GM should be fired immediately.

Top 3? No way. 0%. Not a single mock has that. Thibadeaux Hutch Karlaftis all will go ahead him. Teams aren’t going to reach for a qb in the top 3 this year. To many defensive studs.

Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Washington will probably go after QBs and draft before the Saints. I just hope they don't go after this Willis kid from Liberty. He is hot garbage as a passer, but people are enamored with his athleticism. The only defenses he played against this year were UL and Ole Miss, and he had multiple interceptions against both. UL held him to below 40%. Despite this, some "analysts" have him going in the top ten because he rushed for over 800 yards each of the past two seasons. Everyone is trying to recreate Lamar Jackson.

Yes sure when you have studs battling studs. But these qbs are very bad at the top.
