overthecap tends to stay the most up to date and accurate, they have a very in depth and easy to use cap calculator, and they also have things on there like comp pick projections and rookie salary pools far ahead of time.

112 million in dead cap this year. As of right now, we don't have any dead money for 27 and 28. In 2028 though we will be getting a deal together for Shough's 2nd contract. We have 63 million that we can spend in 27, and 218 million in 2028. All info from overthecap.com

And spotrac does a great job of breaking down the contract details, when money becomes guaranteed, potential out scenarios, how additional bonuses can be earned...

Overthecap also has all of that (you do have to know the basics to read what the outs are, however, as it doesn't outright tell you, but they are pretty obvious). Spotrac is better laid out with these things, I do agree.

Spotrac I would say is definitely a close second though, but they have issues with properly updating contracts at times, like with Carr after the adjustments made. I had a post about it from before free agency when looking at cap space and how they had several contracts wrong.

Holy crap, I thought our dead money and space was bad. I didn't realize the Dolphins were way worse.

We are really trending in the right direction. Good, young talent and getting dead money off the books in the next year.

Only reason is they cut Tua and accelerated it all to this year and next. 99 million total….
