the black numbers are to help broadcasters more easily ID the player... I love the look too but it does make it difficult on those calling the games
same issue they'll have with the Raiders who will have silver on white in their throwback inspired color rush uniform

Also the numbers look different. The Cooks images have more metallic numbers while these look more matte. I'd jump on one if they were metallic.

I really dig what the NFL and Nike came up with for most of the Color Rush program this season. Several throwback-inspired sets that are just SICK and very few that are garbage. I really do hope that they use this as a testing ground to gauge fan responses when considering a rebrand/uniform change. I would LOVE a Saints set like this full time.

These unis are freaking sweet. Just went to buy a Brees jersey and I think I found my one complaint. Not thrilled about the font. At least not the number "9". The block at the tail end is just a little funky. Still think they're pretty sick though.

Things are never perfect.But holy **** these are about as close to perfect as I can imagine. I'm literally struggling to find something to complain about.
