Saints Uni's for 2019 season???

everyone was able to assume color rush for the Eagles game last season after CSP lost that golf bet to the PHI HC

dont know but unless they plan to wear gold at some point in the future they just need to change the official team colors to black and platinum because they havent worn anything close to being called gold since the 80s

I have been eagerly anticipating the 2019 season for 24 years or so now. Why? Because, ever since the 75th anniversary year when all teams wore some pretty sweet throwbacks during the 1994 season, I couldn't wait to see what unis would be worn to coincide with the NFL's 100th anniversary in 2019. It's been a long wait, but we are only a month or so from the Hall of Fame game. Unfortunately, the NFL has ruled that you can only wear one helmet a season due to head injuries and all, so that kinda screws up alot of throwbacks. I haven't quite figured out how the Cowboys, for example, haven't been able to wear their white helmets while the Patriots have. Regardless, I am pumped to see the throwbacks this year and looking forward to hearing any news or announcements on that front.

They’ll be black and gold. I hear from an inside source that the’ll also have white jerseys as well.

Yep

Really is sad.

We are a few tweaks from having the best uniforms of all time.

Instead we a forced to settle for just good uniforms.

1) Adjust the old gold color.

2) Go back to shiny gold pants. Gold pants must be shiny to match helmets otherwise they are khaki.

3) when wearing White jersey, use the gold rush design.

4)use the Green Bay type stripe on the gold pants with white jerseys.

Basically upgrading and tweaking our original white jersey uniforms.


Do the same with black jerseys.

For those who like a lot of black....

1)Use the current black stripe on the gold pants with the black jerseys.

2) go to an Oakland Raider look jersey that is black with gold #’s and lettering....no white highlights

Dallas Cowboys refused to give up their shiny pants.

Why did we?

It makes me sick to think how awesome our uniforms can be and we continue to settle for what we have.

Best combo we have ever had. wish they would come up with a updated version.

The 75th Anniversary year means a lot to me. That's when 8 year old me came online to football.

Dear Rohan, you are one of the few people that seems to care about jerseys as much as me and my brother. Thank you my friend, everything you said has been echoed in my house a ton. And not that it matters but we are both Marine Infantryman so we are not done geeks sitting in our living room. We just dig our teams looking sharp.

If you have to say “we are not geeks”, then you are very likely to be actual geeks.

The uniforms will be black and some variant of gold. There will likely be a white jersey as well.
