Right.. we cannot afford to throw away draft needs before the season starts.

Agreed. I'm starting to think that 7-9 wins might be a little low now. This roster has finally taken shape, & I'm becoming much more positive about the outcome of this season.

Legit defense, legit O-Line, Kamara, & a big arm QB. This team is not going to be an easy out, & the potential is enormous.

I personally think it's 11-6 this season for us. Maybe 10-7. I'm high on Jameis taking a turn for the better with Payton and Carmichael. MT13 eventually coming back will be tremendous for him.

Think he is serving a 6 game suspension now, 5 from 2020 and 1 in 2021..will be available week 2.

Yes. That is correct. Also, fun fact. Guess who he has a pick 6 against?

If it was for a 4th or below it was a pretty good trade. Hoping it wasn’t for more than that. He will be one of the better number two corners in the league.

Texans are going full blown tank mode. Smart to trade away assets. I'll take one Deshaun Watson please.

What are you going to give up for a guy who wont be able to play for you for at least 15-20 years.

He’s suspended week 1 so he should fit in perfectly with our defense.

i mean for coming in on Wednesday of game week 1 he might not of played a lot if eligible anyway.

All Good.

He had a pretty good game against the Saints for Denver back in 2016.

Sean Payton will never trade for an LSU player. Kidding aside, fantastic acquisition

In order to facilitate a trade to the Saints, the Texans converted ~$7.6M of CB Bradley Roby's base salary into a signing bonus, per source. When Roby officially gets traded to New Orleans, his base salary for 2021 is now $1,862,645, which fits into the Saints' cap space.

Per Field Yates. Still no word on compensation.

So Texans are eating the 7.6? That would be huge.

That’s some serious Loomising, but in order to get the Texans to agree we likely had to give up a higher pick.

I’m expecting at least a 3rd at this point.

are we 100% sure we are not eating this 7.6 mill or does this move allow us to spread out the cap hit on our end over some fake years?
