I thought this until he sat out the bowl game and left his teammates hanging.

Is Grier projected to go mid-to-late 2nd/early 3rd?

But as I can attest, it’s much easier to get here from Pittsburgh than New Orleans.

You don't say?

No doubt, though I can't see how the Saints would get in position to draft him, or why they would resign Teddy if this were the plan.

Guess we could always trade away future picks if they fall for a guy they feel like would be somewhat attainable. Think they’re just potentially casting a wide net post Brees including hanging on to what they have in hand already.

Y'all think that there's any chance that Drew told management that this is officially his last year?

I haven't chimed in on any potential draft picks in a while... so here goes...

y'all know I have dual-purple allegiance...but my #3 is WVU (both my parents are alumni). As such - I watch them a fair deal... I DON'T CARE FOR GRIER. Throws very few routes beyond 10 yards past LOS with any consistency. He's got more scar tissue than I'd be willing to put my money on. Real Talk: Grier goes as his cycle goes. I don't think he has the stamina to be anything other than a dicey backup. Holgo knew how to use him to beat college DBs. HARD PASS.

Watched some Grier highlights today, 3 thoughts:
1. He looked to be pin point w accuracy within 35 yards
2. Arm strength may be concern cause I seldom saw a ball go more than 40-45 yards
3. WR’s looked very skilled on team

Guys, we didn't send 9 scouts to see one player. We are looking at multiple players.

Yeah, for us not to draft him. In case you haven't noticed, anytime Saints put tons of scouts or interview a player like this they rarely if ever draft them.

I would guess the roster would look like drew/teddy/drafted qb and have taysom officially listed as a rb or wr

There is no offical list that requires a specific position for each player.
