Is now the longest of all teams in the NFC South.

The Saints have been an excellent regular season team and a terrible playoff team.

What’s to blame?

Not counting Tampa, but I’ll take our drought over Atlanta and Carolina’s trips to the Super Bowl

I agree. Just with so much wasted opportunity it would be nice to figure out why history continues to repeat itself.

The Saints have had one of the most successful 4 year runs in the history of the NFL and ultimately nothing worthwhile to show for it.

Clearly it’s Roger Goodell’s fault

I was pretty bummed after we lost last weekend. However, I feel like I’m even more pissed off now just because of random stats we’re learning.

If we lose because the other team is better, then so be it. I can live with that.

But losing like we have the last 4 years with the teams we’ve had. Cool.

Off-season can’t get here fast enough.

We were a terrible playoff team before Sean Payton got here. I believe we are 9-8 in the playoffs since he got here which probably makes us a slightly above average playoff team. Some of you guys don't really know what a terrible playoff team looks like. In 2017 and 2018 we were the victim of a rookie safety who had a complete mental breakdown and an official who apparently forgot he was officiating a football game. Outside of Belichik and Brady has anyone else been consistently better during the same period?

While I love Brees, his limitations were the ultimate reason for the playoff futility the last few years.

Brees years ago, should have not sucked all the money out of the franchise. Every contract he signed was met with fans knowing it hurt the overall performance of the team. Should have used that money for consistent/quality offensive linemen. This would have opened up the run game and passing game over the years, thus enabling the aints to win more games.

The defensive secondary could have used extra cash to pay for decent quality DB's. Oh but frick no! Pay that greedy leach anything he wants. Now, its back to the ole good old days of 8/8 seasons. I member when an 8/8 season was good....get use to it!

I blame Terry Fontenot. He's gone now so, the Saints should be good.

When we went I was happy to be there.

We won....Everything else in my lifetime is a bonus.

Nothing is given, yes we have had heartbreak, but so has just about every other team not named New England.

Just bad luck. The no call which we would have one the super bowl that year, the Minnesota miracle, and what team can beat tom Brady 3x in one year.

All those years watching this team, begging, hoping for a win. A winning season seemed like a pipe dream, a Super Bowl would be preceded by pigs flying. Heck, 8-8 would have been cause for celebration. And now we’re whining about a Super Bowl drought. Just blows my mind.

At least we won one. It doesn't do any good to get there if you lose it.

Drought? What are you smoking

They’ve been to the super bowl 1 time in franchise history.
