I feel like we will know something within the coming hours with Armstead still hanging on till the last minute. If Armstead hasn't pulled the trigger to land somewhere else before this afternoon when free agency officially begins, I would think that he is staying for a reason.

Man we have to do what is takes to get Deshaun Watson IMO. I don’t care if we have to give up so much that it makes us suck for the next two years. Watson is worth it for the next 12 years.

i think the only thing he is waiting on is if, and thats a huge if, the falcons can put together a competitive offer to match the saints and panthers.
and i just dont see them having enough to do that unless houston takes way way less from falcons then everyone else was offering which would be beyond dumb. that said, if thats the only team he wants, they might take less to move on and just get him out the door

The offer has absolutely nothing to do with the choice. The Texans are making the teams interested in Watson have an offer they would accept before they can even speak to him. At this point the trades are agreed upon...they're just waiting for DW to make a pick so they can execute the trade. What Houston gets back is of little note for Watson who is just trying to pick the team he wants to go to the most.

If Watson wants to win, he should be concerned about what new team is losing .

It is clear at this moment that Watson cares about more than just winning or he wouldn't be meeting with Cleveland (losing-est Franchise since 2000) or Atlanta (awful roster).

We're the only team, on that list, that has been to the playoffs consistently as of late. And we almost made it last year without a QB.

in case you havent paid attention, atlanta came late to the party and the reason they havent met yet is houston hasnt agreed to allow it meaning falcons offer hasnt been accepted yet.
hence my post and speculation that they may accept less if he really only wanted them but their offer wasnt as good
no one really knows for sure whats going on behind closed doors at this point but atlanta thing has never made any sense unless its a false flag

In case you haven't paid attention, atlanta met with Deshaun a few hours ago. The trade is already agreed on. It's just his decision.
