I know there was some confusion on what the saints received but it’s been announced as a 7th rounder.

So you'd rather us just release him and get nothing? That makes absolutely no sense.

we allowed jacksonville to renegotiate a new 2 yr deal with malcolm brown who is a very good player still without brown hitting free agency. All for a little 7th rd pick. At some point, nut up. We want better value or good luck overpaying in free agency.

I mean it’s better than the nothing we would get if he was cut. I know 7th don’t really amount to anything ever but it’s something you toss into a trade package.

You think Brown was an unwilling participant in the renegotiation of his contract with Jacksonville? God damn, you are a dumb frick.

What was the dead money to cut him vs. trading him?

should have been same.

although i did say that if there was a way for Jax to eat more of those 1.5 dead monies during the renegotiating of the new deal that it could be reason to take less of a pick.

I think I finally get it... You're actually retarded. It finally makes sense.

Take what you can get for him. At least we got a 7th rd pick and its a high one to boot.

Who knows someone might drop to us "like Colston" or you can get a special teamer. You can use it for trade value

Courtland finnegan cb titans
Brett kiesel de steelers
Justin forsett rb seattle
Stevie johnson wr bills
Colston saints
Edelman wr patriots

Colston is easily the best 7th rounder

I'll just consider it rd 6 32b pick!

Seems better

I think Strief was a 7th rounder too.

Deonte Harris & Shy Tuttle weren't even drafted. You can find a legit player in the 7th, but he probably won't just fall in your lap. The best way is to target someone.

Malcom Brown is a player we were going to cut outright.

The pick can be slapped with others to move up

You also made sure a good player that knows a lot about you isn't staying in division or even in conference
