Does anyone think that being ranked 19th is a joke? Is it mainly because of Kamara's possible suspension.....Winton's return from ACL tear.....MT return from ankle surgery?

I could see if that is all that has happened since last season but really? We've added Tyrann, Olave, Penning, Landry which to me is an upgrade on both sides of the ball. Adebo is killing it in camp and Lattimore is, well, Lattimore.

Our divisional games this year see us up against Brady twice (split or sweep?), Atlanta without Julio or Ryan, and Carolina with Darnold or Mayfield without any weapons.

We play better against tough teams for some reason, so I don't get all of the hate, lack of respect, etc.....

There’s no such thing as NFL rankings.

You are reading some random, and meaningless, website.

No Payton is weighing the heaviest against us. We have a great roster but until DA can show he can carry us into the next era there will be doubt

It was a random article that popped up while reading something on Yahoo sports I think.

I looked up another 'ranking' article and it has us @ 11th. So who knows......

All speculation, but was wondering what the reasoning was. The article that had us @ 19th stated something about Kamara's suspension and that was it....

There are a ton, a TON, of questions about what kind of team this is going to be. We think we know the answers because we are fans (aka fanatics) but we don’t. Until some of these questions start to get answered, no ranking, low or high, should surprise anyone

Last time I cared about NFL power rankings I was a virgin.

I am still a virgin and I still care about them.

If you're upset at that then you don't want to read this one I found.

quote:

22. New Orleans Saints New Orleans Saints (9-8) - Previously: 20.
Sean Payton and Drew Brees are gone. Terron Armstead and Marcus Williams, too. The Saints had a chance to win what we thought was an absolutely terrible NFC South, but Tom Brady ruined that by canceling his retirement plans. New Orleans will now be in mediocre (or slightly better) purgatory until the front office finally decides to blow up the entire operation and begin from square zero, as one Hall of Fame running back once said.

At this point there is no low or high for any team.

Rating after the 2nd pre season game for all teams is the best you will usually get before game 1.

And then its a good idea to wait until after game 4

With Jameis hurt and Jiffy Lube Techs playing wide receiver we barely missed the playoffs. I’m not calling for a Super Bowl or even a deep playoff run but I think we’ll be pretty stout.

Was poking fun at the op. I haven’t cared about the NFL power rankings since I was around 12 years old.

Kind of pointless, really.

I care because it let me get great odds on the upcoming superbowl victory.

Just kidding. I'll sell the bet back early in the playoffs for a nice double at least. The only way this team doesn't make the playoffs is another improbably injury-ridden season. Losing Jameis won't even hurt so bad this year.
