The source of this would have to be the Cowboys. Rap has no legit sources with the Saints whatsoever.

Obviously, depending on what was given up for him, I would like this quite a bit. I would feel like our offense has no holes.

Adam Schefter is reporting on NFL Insiders on ESPN that the Saints are making trade inquiries and are in discussions for the Cowboys guard Ron Leary.
The Cowboys had placed a $2.553 million second-round tender on Leary. The asking price must be steep. This might mean Peat will be the Saints RT.

He's good but looking for a big contract. Hard to give up value for 1 yr rental and or having to pay big bucks next

Payton and Loomis have basically both straight up called out Rap in the past for having no sources with them and his reports being "a joke".
If it came from Glazer I would give it some heavy credence.
On the flip side, I have no idea if Rap has sources with the Cowboys. He might, so it could be coming from them.

Is it just me or does Rapoport keep getting worse in time? Much ado about nothings, pure speculations, old and third hand rumors more and more.
Leary would be a good add though. Nice to see the FO sticking to whatever give they think he is worth.

Getting to Leary, he's a good player but not a great one. He's got one year left and wants to get paid. I'd like to have him as he'd be an upgrade for us, but I'm not willing to give up a whole lot for a 1 year rental or to give a decent Guard a big contract.
