That suggests that Milroe or Sanders would have been obviously better picks than Shough, and that Loomis made the pick with Kellen Moore having nothing to do with it.

That article reads like a fan site pretending to be journalism.
One thing that I don’t do is give credibility to players with respect to draft choices.
Having said that, openly bitching about a player that will be your teammate is a problem.

Also the title says Saints players but yet Luciano offers not one quote from any Saints player and only refers to a GIF posted by Saunders.

There’s not a single person on here who expected or wanted Shough in the second round. If they did they didn’t post about it. The majority of this board was against taking him in the first 4 rounds. That’s just a fact.
But now that we drafted him everyone will pretend they liked it. No one was talking about taking him at 40. It was a complete shock unless you had some kind of inside knowledge.
