re: Saints: No refunds, if you don't want to get vaccinated, sell your tickets on SeatGeek

It's getting easier and easier to let my tickets go. Been a nice 20 year ride. But between all the protesting and now the Saints straight up lying about the mask mandate and the vaccine or test results this may be my last year. Let the 80k on the wait list pay the $9200 a year for my 4 plaza club sideline tickets.
Im the same way. been having season tickets since 2002 and had alot of fun times. Honestly though, the last few years have just been ridiculous. I was already losing interest in the sport because of the flags and blatant cheating by the refs... all the BS and now all of this BS makes it easy to step away.

What's so bad about having to get a negative PCR test?

I think it COULD present some interesting legal challenges. Presumably, when the tickets were offered for purchase (or at least some) there weren't clauses related to covid. And it is unclear if the general conditions could apply to this situation where the city is implementing the conditions...not the Saints.
There are probably many who would not have agreed to purchase the tickets had they known of such conditions. I'm not saying any such legal arguments would prevail....but it might be an interesting challenge if someone wants to raise it.
I suspect they Saints are trying to "encourage" unhappy fans just to sell their ticket rather than challenging the issue.

Give your game tickets to a recent undocumented arrival.
They are probably unvaccinated and will be allowed in.
and undoubtedly pay cash

Do you think that many people would give up the rights to the seats for upcoming seasons? Not arguing one way or another, but I’m sure people would take that into account before not buying tickets and never getting them again.
That being said the waiting list will surely drop now that Drew is gone.

What about employees and construction workers in the renovations. Do they need to be vaccinated? I hope it’s not ready for the Super Bowl so it makes that destroya look like an arse

Not exactly on the same scale, but I see you're the one crying above. Keep whining
and for the record, I would say the baker is a dick, just like you for threatening to sell your tickets to opposing fans because you didn't get your way. Keep whining

They have a right to decide who they will let in, they also have a moral and financial obligation to refund people who have given them money for years and decades that don't feel right or do not want to get vaccinated. I am vaccinated and support people getting vaccinated, I don't support forcing people to get vaccinated and stealing their money over a personal health decision. There should be an opt out option and yes you should lose your rights if you choose to opt out but you should also get your money back.

Wonder if you could just do a charge back on your credit card. Most people put it on a card.
If Amex and visa allowed charge backs, the Saints would probably have to change their policy.

Good, its about time we stop trying to appease the unvaccinated.
We should also test for the flu too right?
Maybe HIV?
shite, we should require blood tests to get in.
Welcome to retardville.

When the flu starts killing hundreds of thousands of people in the US every year and putting massive strain on the hospital system, then yes.

Maybe HIV?
Wasn't aware you could give someone HIV just by being in their vicinity. Good to know.

Judging by the percent vaccinated in this state, I think we've been living in it longer than we realized.

Dumb fricks who say this is reasonable need to realize once the Government requires it, there is no going back. This isn't till we get through the Delta variant, this is going to be around for a long time.

Oh no, the horror! Next thing you know they're gonna do something crazy like stick our babies with the hepatitis B vaccine or require our kids to get the meningitis vaccine before college. When will it end?

have no problem if they want to have these policies. The problem I have is that they told people, me being one of them, that we could get refunded and lose our rights if mask policies were put in place by them or the city. They are going back on that and keeping 8 grand from me.
Raiders just did this but they are taking back the tix to sell this year and allowing your rights to roll over to next year. Saints should do the same if they gonna have any mandate. Complete bs.

Flu kills 35-40k a year? And don’t give me the numbers of people that died b/c of COVID, because they lump them together with people that died WITH not b/c of COVID.

Exactly, the only unreasonable thing is the Saints refusing to give refunds to people who opt out based on the new rules.
It’s ridiculous the Saints are taking their current stance, and to me it’s a strong indication they don’t actually have a waiting list of people who will buy the tickets given back and they need the cash

Are you presenting your hepatitis B papers to get into a government owned facility dipshit?
