fricking awesome game last night, I'm hyped that Hardee was able to step up and be good

But we can't end up in that situation against a team with real WRs. They need to spend the bye working out some free agents or arrange a trade for some decent guys for CB4/5

Hardee played great in the preseason and looked good last night. Maybe he can play. I guess we will find out

And honestly I doubt there is a CB on the street any better.

I’m not really sure that Hardee is ready tbh. I don’t even think compared to PJ and Crawley he is ready. Hardee looked lost out there

Yeah I agree. It's honestly a shame that all the bottom-of-the-roster CB depth we had built up (the rookies, Maulet) all got snatched cause we could use them now

Lattimore absolute worst cases misses one game. Him, Crawley, Williams, and Hardee are a fine starting unit. We don't need to go making desperate trades or anything unless he and Crawley both go down.

Luckily we have a bye next week, so he may not miss any.

Unless Lattimore just has an absolutely severe concussion, it is doubtful he misses time.

We have the bye week, and it is pretty rare for guys that don't have a severe previous concussion history to miss much time at all.

I wouldn’t be opposed to looking at CB trade candidates at the deadline.

Hardee is great Depth, and has a high ceiling, but he needs some refinement.

We already tried working out some guys. Didn’t work out. Next step is to just trade for one

This. Redskin WRs are average at best and Alex Smith is not the most accurate NFL QB.

So that helped our CB situation last night.

But the Saints do need to upgrade the defensive backfield to defend against the looming better competition.

Don't agree with that totally but he was fooled on his pick and if Alex Smith leads the WR that's probably a TD. I'm sure everybody expected him to get burned all night when he came in and that didn't happen.

I think with the bye week Lattimore wont miss any games at least i hope so.

That’s what I meant by worst case. It seems like it is more common for players in the NFL to miss the next game for concussion. I’m assuming he’ll be back after the bye.

Ask the Cardinals what they would want for Patrick Peterson. If we're going all in for another ring for Brees then why the hell not? Peterson is probably hungry for a ring as well and he won't be sniffing one for a while as Arizona is in rebuilding mode under a new head coach.

I doubt it would take any high draft picks to get him. Not sure what his salary is, but it's probably something that would make a trade unfeasible.

Honestly the Saints should explore trades for any decent defensive back or even a linebacker. Go to teams that are rebuilding like Arizona, Oakland, Buffalo, etc. to inquire about guys they might want to deal that don't fit in their future plans.

I haven’t been on the trade Ginn bandwagon, but after watching Meredith and Smith last night, I say we trade Ginn and a 5th rounder to Cowboys for Byron Jones.

I’m actually pro Ginn as a WR, but you aren’t getting a 5th for Ginn. I seriously doubt you’d even get a 7th at his age

ETA: I’m retarded

The plan is to pray like hell that Davenport can continue to improve...

You bring that kind of pressure every game and even Crawley will look serviceable
