It’s wrong but not by much. Kamara would start for 25 plus teams if fully healthy as would Olave (in the WR2 spot for many). Breece would be in the rotation for many teams given scheme and probably hits that 25 spot as well. But that’s it.

To me it would be ideal if we could get a dominant left tackle, put Fuaga at right tackle. Penning at right guard and Patrick at left guard. McCoy at Center

I thought about Becton being an option. But, he played RG last year. I don’t believe he ever played LG. That would have been a lot of money to give a player who’s never played the position you need him to. They also don’t need to trade for anyone. I believe they will address this position with in the draft. This draft has a lot of depth in the interior oline.

Carr and Olave would start for at least half of the teams in the league, as would Chase Young and now Reid.

If I’m not mistaken, Patrick was one of the top ranked guards for the first two weeks last season. Then all the injuries happened and everything went to shite.

Lots of guys look decent playing next to an all pro center, but without help on both sides he is a liability.

Dalton Risner - 0 sacks and 0 penalties last year, PFF 22nd ranked guard. Has played R & L Will Hernandez - has played R & L, tore ACL in Week 5. 91 career starts, excels in pass pro Both only 29. Wouldn’t hate going 2-3 years on either. Same with Jenkins

Def wonder is the Saints are looking at any of these guys. All seem like a decent move if the cost isnt crazy.

I don't know if there is a issue with Penning at guard but the best news from camp would be Penning getting reps at guard! Dude is a mauler. Would like the RT from LSU in the second. If the Loomis wants success build a run blocking oline to be the best. That will eat clock and protect Carr from having to win each game by himself.

Let’s put everybody in a new spot.

Yes. Cause the oline sucks. Depth is horrible. And with a 8 year vet at rb, young WRs and a average QB that suckage hurts even more. Be snarky chad if you want. Penning is a question mark. Ruiz is not dominate. McCoy coming back from IR. No LG and Fuaga not playing his best position.

I think the starting oline and those on the bench were the worst in the last 20 years. Snippy sure. Sensitive is something I've never been called lol

Lol. Hey, anything is possible we have a whole new staff.

If anyone is being rational, then if we were to draft one of Banks, Mizzo kid, or Cambell, all three are elite tackles with shorter measurables (height/arm length), and could easily be badass guards.

All three would solidify the line, and none would be meant to replace our tackles. Penning is a tackle prototype in size/speed etc. with proven run blocking (fitting KM’s offense). Fuaga is a future probowl LT.

In my opinion at least.

I just don’t understand why people want to move penning. Penning played well at RT, he was raw. The saints need to continue to develop him. He’s played 3 different positions since he’s come here and he’s finally playing well. They need to coach him up and let fuaga stay at LT as he looked incredible. McCoy and Ruiz need to stay healthy and the only hole this team has on the oline is at Lg.

Yup.

Def very little reason to move Penning or Fuaga. They looked good where theyre at.

Penning played well at RT,

Alot of folks on here seem to have no idea that he was basically one of the best young run blocking tackles in the league, def a fit for KM’s offense.

Agreed.

It’s much easier to say what we have rather than what we need.

We got a good Punter and a good PK.

Everything else is on the table.

I’d take 10 RBs before Kamara of today, following list has Kamara ranked correctly:

Olave is his next concussion away from shutting down football, you are being generous there. An admission he’s a WR2 at best shows another wasted draft pick and horrible trade for what we gave up. Why you guys continue to believe in Loomis is baffling.

Oline is the key. Without it you don't have a run game or a pass game. Not to mention run game opens up the pass game and vice versa. Even Sam Donald looked like a pro bowler with that offensive line. Time to throw the ball and go through progressions or running for your life?
A run game with play action?
