Nick Underhill of New Orleans Football reports that the Saints players are planning on having a players-only meeting following their sixth straight loss of the 2024 season.

Saints players reportedly feel that they are not being as detail oriented as they were when the season began.

"Some of the Saints’ leaders feel the details have gone to the wayside and want to take matters into own their hands. They say it will take a open conversation about the real problems and what can be done to fix it because they’re sick of being “losers,'" he reported on Sunday evening.

Seems like something the coaching staff would address.

Allegedly.

If "Taking matters into our own hands" is a direct quote from the team leaders then this is a public no confidence in the head coach broadside.

DA's comments in his presser CLEARLY meant he did not like this at all.

He said it wasn't a player or coaches thing but an US thing.

Can they get rid of Loomis? On second thought…why would they? He keeps paying them entirely too much money despite the trajectory of our team.

loomis has mortgaged the future of this franchise

so instead of being able to purge now and start trading vets for picks along with tanking for a high pick(which we can tarde back if need be) he has hamstrung us for 3 more years.

you maybe can start half-arse rebuilding but not at full throttle with our cap issues. and his dumbass extended kamara who shoulda been the first to be traded for picks. carr shoulda never been signed to what he was.

we all knew here we would suck and we needed a full tear down and rebuild. save money and pay a bum until we can draft the Qb we want or get a real star via FA. nope spent a fortune on carr.

LOOMISING!

Davis, Mathieu and Cam were the team leaders. With all three likely needing to retire after this season, they probably don't have the voices in the locker room any more.

If this is true then that is just as much of an indictment on them as it is on the coaching staff.

If the 3 of them could not produce leaders to follow after them then how can you call them leaders in the first place.

Who are these so called leaders? One of the problems with this team is that there is no leadership.

It’s too late. Your season is cooked. Should have been done after the Atlanta loss.
