when we actually get one of the remaining solid pass rushers at 42 i'll be much happier with the ramcyzk pick. Until then i'm withholding judgement.

Hmm, I haven't seem Ryan fall out of round 1 in any mock.

Hell, I also haven't seen a mock where Lattimore lasted past 10.

So what does a pick last year have anything to do with this year? You do understand it's not the same person correct?

I love our first round.

We will have a top three line for the next three to four years along with Peterson and Ingram running behind it. Oh and some guy named Brees getting great pass protection as well.

If we get Cunningham at 42. The draft just about went best case scenario.

I love the tackle pick just making a point that he is full of crap.

So why did he fall to 32???

During this thing called the draft GMs pick players based on the player production and their position of need. As you can imagine this changes every selection as players come off the board. Need also changed based on players available at the position of need as well as player available during their next pick.

It's stupid to pick a player who is rated an 8 at DT when you can pick up a 8 OT, especially when a 7.5 is available at DT on your next pick.

Willie McGinest said, "It's a need...one of the best players defensively in the draft...put him at corner for 5 years....not only fits but one of the best value picks in the draft...".

McGinest was very excited about the Saints Marshon Lattimore pick. Sleep well Saints fans.

4 sacks in 9 games from the DT spot is pretty legit. Run defense needs to improve but he was known as a pass rusher first.

Ahem....from your link

It's very difficult to evaluate where Ryan Ramczyk will be chosen. I could see him going in the top 20, but he could also drop into the middle of the second round. His medical situation could potentially be a big issue, and prospects who slip in the draft usually do so because teams are concerned about their injury status. Plus, he already quit football once, so teams question his passion for the game. However, the risk isn't as great here as it is in the first round, and the Chargers need to make sure they protect Philip Rivers.

As I have said in my 2 posts I love the pick but he has been mocked outside of the first round in most mocks.

I like to play devils advocate and try to see where the asshats who hate every pick are coming from.

And also exactly where I said the mocks said he should aka middle of the 2nd round. If the the guy thought he could really be a top 20 player than he would have put him in the top 20 that's all.

Just looked at 6 mock drafts.

Lattimore was projected as high as 2nd, late as 10th in all 6

Ramczyk was ranked 20th in all of them.
